A Social Event organised by The Birmingham and West Midlands local section of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

A Musical Evening at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, the University of Birmingham

Borodin: Professor of Chemistry & Composer Alexander Porfir'yevitch Borodin (1833 - 1887) is unique in that he was the only major composer who was an amateur. His main occupation was as Professor of Chemistry at the St. Petersburg Military Academy.
